Trance Genres

There are 7 main genres of trance music that people refer to:

All trance music shares certain characteristics, which can be taken as a definition of trance music: It is based on a mixture of melodies and beats, the bpm is usually between 130 and 140 (some would say 125 to 145), and the musical form builds up and down throughout the track.
